Crimestoppers


Crime stoppers is a community-based program designed to aid Law Enforcement and citizens in solving crime. People can assist in the solving of a crime by anonymously calling Crime Stoppers and reporting information that they may have about a crime. Callers may then be rewarded money for information that aids in solving crime. The identity of callers is strictly confidential; in fact the caller does not have to give their name at all.

The reward amount is based on the quality and amount of the information given, depending on the boards' vote. A reward of up to $1,000 may be given depending on the severity of the crime and the quality of the information. Please realize that Crime Stoppers serves the Grand Forks area, including the city of Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, East Grand Forks, and parts of Polk County, however, Crime Stoppers is not limited to those areas only.
