Emergency Management
The Grand Forks Emergency Management Office is responsible for coordination of the City and the County's response to emergency situations and disasters such as:
Severe weather
Flooding
National events
Hazardous material incidents
Mass casualty incidents
Acts of terrorism
And much more
To accomplish this the Emergency Management Office and our partners have developed the joint City and County Local Emergency Operations Plan, or the LEOP. This plan provides the framework upon which the city and county of Grand Forks prepares for, responds to, and performs its emergency response functions.
Be Prepared, Make a Plan
