An internship with the City of Grand Forks is more than just adding a job to a resume.

This internship program offers students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in their desired career field as well as learn the ins and outs of running local government.

At City Hall, interns are a valuable asset and are treated as such. All intern positions are paid and can also be used for credit through the student’s academic institution.

Interns will work hands on within city departments to complete projects, survey reports, assessments, budgets, and more. Every internship is unique and assignments will vary depending on which internship matches your field.
