Mayor Michael R. Brown swearing in Police Chief Mark Nelson December 17, 2014

Mark Nelson started his career with the Grand Forks Police Department in  1988 as a patrol officer, or as he puts it "pushing a squad car".  He has worked his way up the chain of command distinguishing himself as an exceptional officer and leader.
