CodeRED Weather is a warning system that can be used to notify the public when the National Weather Service has issued a notification of a dangerous weather system moving towards our community.

CodeRED allows geographically based delivery, which means street addresses are required to ensure emergency notification calls are received by the proper individuals in a given situation. The system works for cell phones too, but an associated street address is required to provide relevant messages.

No one should assume his or her phone number is in the database. All individuals and businesses should register and update their information, especially when changes have been made; such as a new or an unlisted phone number, changing an address, or using a cellular phone or VoIP phone as a primary number.

All individuals and businesses should follow this link to sign up at "CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment" page.

 Early Warning Siren System:

Sirens are outdoor warning devices activated in the event of severe weather, such as a tornado warning issued by the National Weather Service or other emergency weather situation, as well as other civil emergencies. Monitor your local radio and television stations for current emergency information or use a NOAA weather radio to keep up to date on developing situations.
