A day of outdoor events to take place along the river in the

downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks downtown area 

Schedule of Events

*Subject to change for weather or snow conditions

 10 AM

• Frozen Feat 5 & 10K race - downtown and Greenway in Grand Forks

• Vintage snowmobile show in front of the Blue Moose on the Boardwalk in East Grand Forks

 1PM – 3 PM  

• Free cross country ski rentals from the Ski & Bike Shop.  Come to the tent at the campground in East Grand Forks

• Snowball throwing contest with XL93 in front of the Blue Moose

 1:30 PM & 2:30 PM

• “Bikecicle" ice bike race sponsored by the UND Cycling Club - fees apply

 Most events are free and open to everyone to enjoy (races require registration fees)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cost for attending Winter Fest?  There is no cost for most of the activities, but the s 5 & 10k race and ice bike race do require a small fee.  Watching is free though!

It's cold outside.  How will I stay warm? There will be a heated tent located at the entrance to the campground in EGF.

Where can I park? Parking is available in the many lots in the surrounding area.  Street parking will be limited.

I've worked up an appetite.  Where can I get some food?  Visit one of the many great restaurants in the downtown area.
