Trail access is available at Riverside Park, 7th Avenue north, downtown north of DeMers Avenue, Kannowski Park, Lincoln Drive Park, Lincoln golf course, Elmwood access, Sunbeam trail head and 47th Avenue South.  Just follow the signs to the trail!

There's no dancing around the obvious- winter is a fact of life here in the Greater Grand Forks area and snow and cold temperatures dominate the daily life of residents for many months.  So what’s the cure for cabin fever?  Hibernate under the blanket and wait for the first sign of spring or jump start your endorphins with some winter fun?

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to enjoy outdoor winter recreation in the Greenway. Cross country skiing, snowmobiles, sledding and ice skating are all available right here in the heart of the city.  And close to the hot chocolate too!
