The Greenway is approximately 2,200 acres of natural open space in the heart of Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN.   The Greenway features several parks, campground, 2 golf courses, 3 disc golf courses, over 20 miles of multi purpose trails, shore bank fishing sites and so much more!

The Greenway provides a unique opportunity for year-round outdoor recreation activities in an urban setting.

The Greenway concept was initially proposed by the North Dakota Congressional Delegation after the flood of 1997. A crucial component of the flood protection project, the Greenway is more than a device for flood mitigation; it is an enhancement to the quality of life for residents of the Greater Grand Forks area.
