    On Tuesday May 19, 2015 at approximately 7:40 am a ten (10) year old female was struck by a white four door sedan while crossing the street in the 3200 block of 17th Avenue South while walking to Century Elementary School. The white sedan left the scene of the accident. The injuries suffered by the ten (10) year old female appeared to be minor in nature, on scene medical attention was not required.

    City crews will be closing N. 43rd St. from 13th Ave. N. to 300 feet north for a storm sewer repair.

    In an effort to keep our roadways safe, The Grand Forks Police Department will take part in a “Click It or Ticket” campaign which will involve selective traffic enforcement by several officers looking specifically for traffic violations.

  • PD Coin Suspicious Male

    On two different occasions between May 2, 2015 and May 14, 2015 two females were assaulted by an unknown male suspect. These assaults happened in the area of 1000 block of North 20 St and 2300 block of 10 Ave N.

    With the recent rainfall, the City of Grand Forks would like to remind residents that sump pumps need to drain into the storm water sewer system (street gutters)
