Board of Adjustments

 

Notice is hereby given that the City of Grand Forks Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at 10:30 AM in Room A101 of City Hall, on the following appeals:

 

  1. Nicholas Walker, 1315 So. 18th St., has made a request for variance to the impervious surface area coverage and parking setback requirements [Sections 18-0209(7) and 18-0302 of the Land Development Code] in order to pave additionally.Legal Description: Lot 33, Block 8 of Burke’s Home Addition.

     

  2. Daniel J. Filipi, on behalf of Blackpoint Building Group, 6011 Wydown Dr., has made a request for variance to the accessory building requirements [Section 18-0305 of the Land Development Code] in order to build a shed.Legal Description: Lot A, Block 2 of Prairiewood 4th Addition.

     

  3. Dale & Christine Reed, 852 58th Ave. So., have made a request for variance to the impervious surface area coverage and accessory building requirements [Sections 18-0208(7) & 18-0305 of the Land Development Code] in order to build a detached garage.Legal Description: Lot 11, Block 5 of Crary’s 6th Resubdivision.

     

  4. Widseth Smith & Nolting, on behalf of Brenda Miller c/o Donna Miller etal, 814 University Ave., has made a request for variance to the side yard setback requirements [Section 18-0218(9) of the Land Development Code] in order to replat the property.Legal Description: Lot 18, N 6’ of L20, rear 107’ of SE 19’ of L20 & rear 78’ of L22 & 24, Block 14 of Budge & Eshelman’s 2nd Addition.

     

  5. Michael McMenamy, on behalf of McMenamy’s Tavern, 1602 Mill Rd, has made a request for variance to the side yard, front yard setbacks requirements [Sections 18-0216 (8) & (9) of the Land Development Code] in order to build a cooler & storage addition.Legal Description: Lot 12 less 0.014 acres, Block 7 of Skidmore Addition.

     

  6. Tyler & Cassandra Wilson, 5524 Cottonwood St. have made a request for the variance to the impervious surface area coverage and parking setback requirements Section 18-0208(7) and of the Land Development Code] in order to put in a rear concrete patio.Legal Description: Lot 30, Block 1 of Crary’s Fourth Resubdivision.
