City Facilities Reopen To the Public
Grand Forks, ND – Mayor Brandon Bochenski has signed an emergency order reopening City Hall and other city facilities to the public starting Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 8:00 am. Be aware, city facilities will be following COVID-19 precautions as part of this reopening.
City employees will still be allowed to work from home when possible as long as their individual departments are able to be open to the public.
“I feel we are at a point where city buildings need to be opened back up.” GF Mayor Bochenski said. “Our local health officials and our entire community have done a great job containing COVID-19 in Grand Forks. As we ask private businesses to open up to restart the economy, we need to open city facilities as well.”
The reopening of city facilities does not include the reopening of the GF Public Library. For information on available library services, visit www.gflibrary.com.
The public is still able to access city services online through the “Virtual City Hall” webpage www.grandforksgov.com/virtual.
