Grand Forks, ND – Grand Forks’ annual Spring Clean Up Week will take place the week of May 11^th.

From May 11-15 crews will follow the street maintenance schedule and pick up extra garbage items for free.

Residents are asked to place all of their extra garbage items (household quantities) on their berm by the street.  Crews will not be picking up in the alley.  Please leave at least 4 feet of space between cleanup items and obstacles (trees, mailboxes, etc.).

The landfill will also have extended hours during Spring Clean Up week.  The extended hours are, May 11 - 15 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 am – 11:30 am.  Grand Forks residents can bring household quantities there for free during those hours.  Simply show proof of residence, like a utility bill.

Also, a reminder that Grand Forks residents can take items out to the landfill for free 4 times a year.
