The City of Grand Forks is undertaking a project to repurpose and renovate the existing Grand Forks Herald Building as well renovate portions of City Hall. The end result of this process will create a new space in downtown Grand Forks focused on innovation and collaboration. The Grand Forks Herald Building will house space for a wide range of collaborative tenants and allow for programming of classes and events to support community and economic development in Grand Forks and the Region. The project consists of renovations to the first and second floors and includes tenant spaces, huddle rooms, conference rooms, meeting / classroom spaces, a community room, and a board room.
In conjunction with the Grand Forks Herald Building, portions of City Hall will also be renovated due to the transfer of staff over to the Grand Forks Herald Building. The end result of this process will create renovated and updated office space for existing city staff. This project consists of renovations potentially on all floors and includes, office spaces, conference rooms, and high traffic, customer service areas.
The City of Grand Forks is seeking a qualified CMAR to provide services for the renovation of the Grand Forks Herald Building Project. CMAR services include but are not limited to: coordinating all work packages and subcontractors/suppliers; establish, monitor and enforce the construction schedule to meet the timeline requested by the City; prepare project construction reports, minutes and schedules; develop and implement a quality assurance plan; maintain record document set; implement and monitor a safety program; and implement a system for cost control.
CMAR Qualification submittals are due November 26, 2019 no later than 4:00pm (central time) at the location of: City of Grand Forks, Planning and Zoning, Attn: Ryan Brooks, 255 N 4TH ST, GRAND FORKS, ND 58201.
