Fair Housing: It's the Law, It's Your Right

It is illegal to discriminate in the sale or rental of housing.  In North Dakota, the classes that are protected by state and federal law include: 
  • race
  • color
  • religion
  • gender
  • disability
  • age
  • familial status
  • national origin
  • status with respect to marriage or public assistance
