Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is a federally funded program awarded by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).  Funds are disbursed annually to eligible communities throughout the country to pursue a wide array of community development activities.  Such activities can include funding of public service organizations, improvement and creation of community facilities, and economic development all aimed at assisting low- to moderate-income persons.  Community Development Department staff administer the program under the guidance of a Citizens' Advisory Committee and the City Council.  Plans, reports, and allocation process materials associated with the program are listed below.
