Public Input Welcome!

 We Are Seeking Community Input!

The City of Grand Forks is in the process of preparing its HUD-required 5-Year Consolidated Strategic Plan. The purpose of the Consolidated Plan is to identify housing and community development needs of low-income residents and other vulnerable populations in Grand Forks, and to set priorities for how the City will allocate federal housing and community development funds over the next five years.

We hope that you will share your input regarding housing, human services, economic, or community development needs of low income, housing insecure, and special needs populations in Grand Forks, including those who are elderly, people with disabilities, domestic violence survivors, people experiencing homelessness, and youth aging out of foster care, among others. We will also discuss gaps in digital inclusion/broadband access and disaster recovery preparedness and resilience.

The City Council is expected to open a 30-day Public Comment period on February 27, 2025. The City Council is also expected to hold it's final Public Hearing on April 7, 2025 to accept public comment on the plans and update.  The public is welcome to join in-person at City Hall Council Chambers or to submit comments, which can be done by clicking the "Submit Public Hearing Comment for April 7, 2025" button above. More details on the Public Comment period and Public Hearing will be posted below once a Public Notice is published in late February of 2025.
