Grand Forks has three designated Opportunity Zones (in green above).  Combined, the zones include the entire downtown, the Near North and Near South neighborhoods on downtown's fringes, and the entire area connecting downtown to the University of North Dakota.  These areas have massive development and investment potential as identified in numerous strategic planning initiatives in recent years.  Additionally, Grand Forks' zones overlap with the Renaissance Zone (in yellow above), creating a powerful incentive package for investing in the heart of Grand Forks.
