This project will reconstruct Library Circle.
This street was originally built in 1960. The original concrete road has since had an asphalt overlay completed, and part of the road just west of Washington St. has been replaced under other state improvement projects to Washington St. Approximately a 250’ stretch of the original pavement remains. This section of roadway is currently in a deteriorated condition and in need of repairs. The proposed project would remove and replace the overlaid concrete section of original construction and replace with a new concrete section.
As this is a reconstruction project, it will be paid 80% by the City with the remaining 20% being special assessed to the benefiting properties.
