The City of Grand Forks has launched a new online permit application guide, intended to help make it easier to prepare and apply for commercial building permit applications! You are able to print or download the guide onto your desktop so you can review it at anytime. Submit plans as “guest” through the portal or if you are looking into doing multiple projects, you also have the option to create an account where your guide will be saved online and act as a checklist for your project.

Staff will interact via the portal (which will generate an email to the applicant) to work through any necessary modifications and corrections in order to facilitate an efficient plan review process.
