Grand Forks City Code XXI, Article 2 contains regulations for Alcoholic Beverage establishments. A license is required for the dispensing of alcohol within the City of Grand Forks. The license application process is administered through the Finance and Administrative Services Department. Review by several City Departments, the City Attorney, and City Council are required for license approval.

Class 11 Special or Limited License

The City of Grand Forks also has a provision in its City Code for the issuance of a Class 11 Special or Limited License for serving alcohol at a site other than your regular location. In order to qualify for this license you must be a permanent Alcoholic Beverage License Holder in the City of Grand Forks. The fee for the Class 11 License is $60 per event.
