Below you will find all licenses and permits that can be renewed online. Please select the license/permit you would like to renew and a drop down box will appear with instructions on your renewal.

If there is a requirement for a document to be uploaded for your renewal, that can be found on the left side of the renewal form.

All online payments will include a 3% service charge. This will show-up as CONFEEWEB on your receipt.

Alarm Permits

Before renewing your license, be sure you have the Annual License Renewal that you received in the mail. You will need the following information.

The Grand Forks Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) oversees the process for both Alarm Vendors and Alarm Users, as governed by Grand Forks City Code (Grand Forks City Code, Article 19. Emergency Alarm Systems, 21-1901 thru 21-1916). The requires a permit for any alarm user in the City of Grand Forks, as well as businesses which sell, lease, maintain, service, alter, replace, monitor, move or install alarms.

Before renewing your license, be sure you have the Annual License Renewal that you received in the mail. You will need the following information.

ALL cats and dogs 6 months or older that reside within the City of Grand Forks are required to be licensed. This includes pets that are kept indoors at all times and service animals.

License terms are January 1 to December 31 of each year.

Required Information:

Proof of current rabies vaccination.
If the pet has been spayed or neutered, proof of the procedure from a veterinarian.

Fees:

Unaltered pet: $15
Spayed or neutered pet: $5

Benefits from licensing your pet:

Compliance with City Ordinance
If your animal has a current City license and is lost, police officers have access to your information to try and return the pet to you instead of bringing it directly to the animal impound.
