Online Payments:

Residents can pay their utility bills online.  Online payment options available are: 

  • Debit Card - Visa or Mastercard,or
  • Credit Card - Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. 

The online payment site allows for either one-time quick payments or account setup which offers more options for scheduling payments at a future date and recurring payments.  Both options require some account information to complete your transaction.  Please have a copy of your monthly utility billing statement available when visiting the website to make your payment.

In Person:

Residents can come to City Hall and make their payments at the Utility Bill Payment Windows.  You can make your payments with cash, check, money order or credit card.

Over the Phone:

Residents can pay their utility bills by calling Grand Forks Utility Billing at (701) 746-2670.


Drop Boxes:

Residents can take advantage of drop boxes conveniently located throughout the community.  Current locations are:

  • All Grand Forks Hugo's locations
  • North Parking Lot of City Hall

 The City Hall drop box is available 24 hours a day and is collected daily before 8:30 a.m.  Other drop boxes are collected twice a week, usually Tuesday and Friday.



Automatic Withdrawal:

Residents can also set up automatic withdrawal from their bank accounts to pay their utility bills.
