Most construction requires a building permit. You can find out how much a building permit would cost by estimating the total price of the construction and finding the fee in the appropriate listings below that corresponds to that amount. Permits can be obtained by visiting the Inspections Department office in City Hall. Cash and checks are accepted. There is an additional minimal fee to process credit card payments.
