The Planning Division is responsible for creating a high quality living and working environment for the City and surrounding residents; to assure orderly and harmonious development; to manage growth and development in a manner that supports housing choices and economic development efforts; to protect the quality of life for our people; to work with other Federal, State and local agencies in planning, programming, and budgeting public transportation, utilities and services. This is accomplished by planning, designing and programming the special and temporal interrelationships among resources, facilities, and activities of the community.
