Variances

Companies or Individuals seeking a noise variance (production of noise louder than 50 decibels between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM) should contact the Health Department at (701) 787-8100

Exemptions

The following uses and activities shall be exempt from noise level regulations as herein established:

(A) Noises of safety signals, warning devices and emergency relief valves.
(B) Noises resulting from any authorized emergency vehicles, when responding to an emergency call or acting in times of emergency.
