2026 Curbside Christmas Tree Collection: JANUARY 5TH - 16TH

The Public Works Sanitation Department will be picking up Christmas trees off the curb from January 5th through January 16th. 

• Christmas trees will be picked up on the normal garbage day. BERM ONLY.
• Christmas trees MUST be free of lights and decorations.
• Tree stand and disposal bags MUST be removed.
• Christmas trees WILL NOT be picked up if any items remain on the tree.
• A $48 extra collection fee will be charged for Christmas tree collection after the scheduled pick up dates.
• Christmas trees can also be disposed of in the branch disposal containers at 724 N 47th St or at Williamson Field drop site on 5th Ave S.

Keep it Real

Christmas Tree Collection only includes real trees. Artificial trees will not be picked up.

If you need to dispose of an artificial tree, you can self haul it to the landfill. Residents have four free dumps at the landfill per year (bring proof of residency).

Bare Trees Only

If planning to set your tree on the curb, make sure it is completely bare! This includes stripping it of any lights, ornaments, tree bags, decorations, and bulbs.

Wreaths

Wreaths are now accepted for curbside pickup! Just like trees, please ensure wreaths do not have any decorations on them before placing them on the curb.
