How Recycling Works in Grand Forks

Residential curbside pick-up occurs every other week. Place items on the berm by 7 a.m. on your designated day. For additional information call 701-738-8740.

Single Stream
Simply mix all your recyclable materials together in your existing crates or any bin/crate of your choice!

Mixed Plastic Containers (#1-7)
Glass bottles & jars (any color)
Office paper
Junk mail
Paperboard (cereal, soda boxes, etc.)
Milk cartons
Shredded paper (in closed paper bags)

Juice and milk cartons
Juice boxes

What NOT to Recycle:

Window glass
Light bulbs
Plastic grocery bags
Mercury thermometers
