Who is Mike:

Mike Fridolfs is a dedicated community leader and will always advocate for the citizens of Grand Forks.  Mike has always had a deep rooted passion for public service and a commitment to fostering a thriving, inclusive community.

Mike has lived in Grand Forks for just over 5 years, but in that time has become an integrated part of the community.  He works with both the EDC, Chamber of Commerce, and the Airport Service Boards to make sure the community continues to flourish.  Mike is the Site Director and Operations Director for the Northrop Grumman Grand Sky site.  As the Site Director, he has balanced budgets, built up a large workforce, and continues to solve complex problems.

Prior to working for Northrop for over 20 years, he attended University of San Diego then University of Michigan where he obtained his Masters Degree in Program and Project Management.  These skills will carry over into the City Council as he continues to look and analyze projects as they come to the board for approval.

Mike’s platform and vision for the City of Grand Forks will focus on Economic Development focusing on building and retaining our small businesses, Infrastructure Improvements, Public Safety, and Community Engagement.

Mike is dedicated to building a better Grand Forks and to make this a community that our families can Live, Work, and Play.
