Mayor Michael R. Brown of Grand Forks delivered his 2019 State of the City address, co-hosted by The Chamber of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks to a sold out crowd of nearly 600 people at the Alerus Center Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
Mayor Brown focused on taking action, follow through and attending to the details, or as the theme states, “Dotting the ‘i’s”.
Brown focused these actions in four categories, also following the ‘i’s” theme: Infrastructure, Investment, Innovation and Inclusion.
Brown said, “Grand Forks is at a point where the right steps forward with solid infrastructure, key investments, a focus on innovation and a commitment to inclusion will set the course for an historic period of development and opportunity.”
“Grand Forks has momentum”, he continued, “And by making sure we take action, follow through with initiatives, and attend to the details, we’ll accelerate this momentum.”
