City of Grand Forks, ND

The City of Grand Forks will close a section of Cherry St. from Great Plains Crt. to 47th Ave S, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, for a law enforcement ceremony. The closure will be in place from 12:00 pm until 3:30 pm. Local access will be available.

Crews will be closing 17th Ave. S. from S. 20th St. to S. Columbia Road to thru traffic starting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. This also includes the bike path along 17th Ave. S. Detour signs will be posted.

Grand Forks’ annual Spring Clean Up Week will take place the week of May 11th.

Crews from the ND Department of Transportation will begin a rehab project on the Sorlie Bridge on Demers Ave. on Monday, May 4, 2026.
