You will receive notification to the email that was used to register for an account. A representative from the planning department will also notify you when an application has been received.

A representative from the planning department will notify you via comments on your application when the date has been reserved.   

Communications will be through the online portal where you submitted the original application.  You can log back in to review the status of your application at any time. Multiple city staff may have comments, and each comment will generate an email notification.   

Tickets will not be issued within approved reserved parking areas.  Areas outside of the reserved area, example – parking for an event in residential areas on street  maintenance days, will still be enforced.  

Please reach out to the finance department at 701-746-2620 and the Grand Forks Public Health Department. The food vendor will also need to complete a temporary food application, which includes inspections of vehicles along with other requirements, so please plan appropriate time to complete licensing process.

City projects take into consideration events that are happening within impacted areas to the best of their abilities, however projects and their scope will take precedence over events. 

When planning your event, please reference the current year city construction project map and adjust plans accordingly.
